Kristin & Dave's Wedding

Kristin and Dave’s wedding took place from beginning to end at the Fruitlands Museum in Harvard MA. Fruitlands is a beautiful venue with a slightly rustic feel, and gorgeous natural scenery including a sweeping view overlooking the Nashoba Valley, and beautiful beautiful evening light. Especially so If it’s not overcast, which it wasn’t :)

Kristin and her bridesmaids got ready in one of the cottage rooms before heading over to the ceremony at the overlook. I was already getting psyched when I headed over and could see the sun coming in from behind at a low angle creating a warm glow that wrapped around everything. I have tricks up my sleeves to make just about any lighting situation work but sometimes you just get lucky and it’s naturally perfect. We did a few family pictures before heading down the hill just the three of us for some portraits, and these two were just as easy to work with as the light, and then back up the hill for cocktail and reception. After some heart felt (and also hilarious) toasts and some dinner, everyone hit the dance floor and the rest is history. Thanks for a perfect day and all the best to you both.
